Hey! I’m pretty sure that I will hear (again) some comments about my attention to food studio photography. But want can I do? I keep seeing nice pictures that go further than a mere cooking recipe illustration. Sometimes (it’s a bit uncommon), those images go much further, they become actual photo art works. For example, Lucas Zarebinski succeeds in creating a very personal atmosphere from images that start as food, become beautiful pack shots, starts titillating the taste buds, and grow into simple and pure graphical moments. One is forced into remembering the critical place of form and color in Japanese food (in most Japanese culture, I should say). But there is also this little blast of contemporary art.
